2014 New Inner Circle Members
Here are the newest members of the Inner Circle:
Samantha Liebman
Samantha Liebman is currently the only reporter covering New York City for Verizon FiOS 1 News. She’s a proud native New Yorker and avid Rangers, Knicks, Giants and Mets fan.
Before she FiOS 1, Samantha was an anchor/reporter for NY1’s New Jersey Unit. She started her on-air career in market 179-Marquette, Michigan-at NBC affiliate, WLUC-TV. She lives in Manhattan with her fiance and their dog.
Samantha’s broadcasting career actually started in 1994 with an internship at WFAN, a gig she got by chasing down the WFAN van on her street. When the driver parked, she asked if they offered internships to high school students;
the driver, who was the promotions director, asked if she babysat-a deal was struck.
Larry Seary is currently president of the New York Press Club; he has also served on the TV Academy’s national board, after three terms as a local chapter governor. He’s been nominated nine times for an Emmy, and was awarded three Emmys - one for camera, and two for news productions.
During his 34-year career at WNBC, he has held newsgathering positions as varied as assignment editor, cameraperson, direction of field operations, and producer.
He is also a 35-year member of Greater New York Mensa, which, he says, might explain his state of confusion. He resides in Beechhurst, Queens with his wife Phyllis.
Alice Stockton-Rossini is a news anchor-reporter and talk show host for WOR/24-7News at Clear Channel Communications.
She has had a broad career on NYC airwaves, working 24 hers at 1010 WINS and earlier in Philadelphia
